If Somebody Offered Me ... ... ..

If George Clooney offered me a night on the town right now - I'd say no! If somebody offered me the chance to spend a million quid right now I'd say no! If a tall dark and handsome guy offered me a 2 hour massage and a turkish bath right now - I'd say no! If somebody said they've turned down a freshly made bed, fluffed up the pillows and offered me the chance to sleep for a month - i'd say I'm half way there. I'm so tired, washed out and can't keep my eyes open. G'night. Godbless. Be good ...

This post is more of a random thought which has been going around my head for a couple of hours, normaly things like this would have never have bothered me but it did! A couple of months ago I was going through a bad patch in life, nothing made sense, I was stressed daily and time wasn't on my side. I happend upon a magazine in my shop, It was called 'psychologies'. It was an article on the front cover that made me buy it, the title to one of the stories was 'Take your life off hold - more ...

The Ultimate 'Wet Willy' Experience!!!!

There's one thing for sure, kids know how to wake there 'Moms 'n' Dad's up effectively! I went to bed early last night, I was dropping tired from yesterdays meeting with the Instructors. I held it here at home and spent about 3 hours going over the small print involved with opening a new club. Yes that's right, we just launched club #6 wooohooo! Anyway, I had no intentions of rising before the worms or birds, but come 8am I had layla in and out of my bedroom like a frigging 'Yoyo'. Still ...

Saturdays Musings.

Umm.. yes, it definately feels like we're turning this quaint cottage into a farm today; right now hubby and the boys are out picking up the new chicken coop for our birds. It's kind of exciting yet scary since there's alot of work involved in looking after them. I read they're like pets and need regualr supervision to make sure we don't have nasty brooders, not to mention protecting them from fox's. I'm glad we have a very large garden otherwise I think i'd be the type to get overwhelmed ...

The Clark Cottage Brewery is Open!

As ever, we remain optimistic regarding the consistent increase of food and drink prices following the 2008 buget. Besides growing our own food, we have bought a bunch of broody hens for chicks and eggs and ... decided to brew our own Wine and Beer!!! Please don't think I'm tight and maybe suffering from the inability to part with cash because I am not that way - i'ts my children, they eat me out of house and home and before you know it I'm left with no nights out! I have no social life be ...

Gadget's 'N' Gizmo's

Have you noticed that in this day and age Manufacturers expect you to be pretty much on top of new gadgets and have a fairly good idea on how to install them into your computer! Take this new camera I bought as an example. It has all the features and mod-cons you'd expect from todays demanding "professional" photographers but.....all the instructions are in every language except English!!!! A digital camera looks the same as the next one, I automatically assumed that this sweet little ...

Please Save My Little Broken Body!

I'm sooo glad it's my day off; the only opportunity to nurse oneself back to health!! I trained again last night but fatigue must have slowed down my responces because I was beaten black and blue by the senior students! I kicked the elbow of one and probably broke my second toe, I punched at the same time and another black belt - our fists clashed and I may have broken my thumb, and i'm developing 2 black eyes from sparing with my husband! Owwwww! My back is in half from spending more time ...

One Day in My Life:

I made myself a chore planner a couple of weeks ago, this explains why I haven't been 'Greasing' lately. After comming to terms with panic attacks and getting some stronger medication from the GP I was able to focuss and get my life in order - back to what it was like before my house fire. I mention the fire because it was from then all my anxieties started. I managed to get myself back into a routine, i make sure everything I have to do I written down and I tick these chores off as soon a ...

The Mind of a Martial Artist - Emily's Grading

I sat at the same grading table last night as I have done so many times in the past; I went through the same tedious process of filling in the forms, dating licences and organizing the graders for their examination. The only difference last night was that it was Emily's turn to grade for her 6th kyu green belt. I was so nervous for her because she was still having trouble remembering the japaneese translations and blocks. There were 4 kids in total grading for their green belts, at this st ...

Scott Brought Home the Gold!

Here's my Scotty, he entered in the under 15's kumite in an International Karate Championships in Birmingham yesterday. Roger explained that there was over 200 competitors in the 12's - under 15's category. That event took almost 5 hours to complete, with the competitors fighting off each other. The triplets Scott inc made it to the semi finals but it was Scott and another guy who made it into the final and Scott beat him by 8-7. I'm soooooooooo chuffed, Scott is over the moon.

That ONE Telephone call: From my husband who calls me from the karate events with the final results - like the one today they took part in. I just got off the phone from him to say that my Scott won 1st place again ((((((WooooooHoooooo))))) i'm besides myself with joy, what mother wouldn't be. Spending hours in the bath, sweet sented oils filling the steamy seductive air and floating in millions of blossom kissed bubbles, this one is one of my top favourites. This is more of a guilty confe ...

Self Discovery Con'td ... .

Ok since I seem to have figured out that all my lifes axieties stem from self indulgence and pleasing me myself and I; it's become apparent that I can't blame the manufacturers for selling me crappy furniture that falls apart, it's to do with me not taking that extra 45 breaths to store things away neatly! It's only when you take things for granted that you figure these things out. Bummer or what, now I have to by a new wardrobe if I can't repair the one I have already. Are you like me, (I ...

A Path to Self Discovery and Climbing Mountains.

I'm going through a path of self discovery; cut a long story short I want to know why I find myself about to do the washing, but when I open the washer I discovered there was still wet washing in there waiting to be hung out from yesterday. The question is 'why is it still in there? Well the route of my problem was having to be told to do it when I was younger! My mom would have endless arguments with me about making sure to hang the washing on the line while she went to work, I was like ( ...

Speaking of over time, I totally blitzed the place yesterday, I started o ...
