  A New Business Venture:

Sundays are my day to try and get as much done as humanly possible before the hectic work week begins; more often than not most of the evenings are allocated to washing and ironing. The time spent at the ironing board is also use to reflect, think about imediate issues and find solutions to problems that I haven't invented yet!

I 'still' found myself  beating myself up about the price increases I made recently, but as well as that - trying to find away to keep updating the clubs by introducing new amenities to keep the flow of students and bring in new customers.

Yes, I had a brain wave; but I have learnt that there is no point rushing in to tell Roger about it, ya know 'blurting it all out of the top of my head' because he just won't listen to me, 'Unless' I have a written working plan with as much 'detail' and planning 'along' with a 'sugested solicitor' who can help guide us through it.

I sat on the sofa for 3 hours writing and writing and writing. He asked me what I was doing but I just told him I was helping the kids with a homework project as I didn't want him butting in before I had a chance to present the proposal to him. Once I finished it I asked him if he was interested in a new angle for the clubs, 'oh go on then'   he said rolling his eyes lol so I gave it to him. He readi it and said YES! Wooo hooo!

I explained the plan cannot be put into action for about 5 years as there is do much to do, so much research and a heap of saving involved, but I have this time to gather as much information as possible to get it right first time.

This new venture is a once in a lifetime opportunity, we have to give this one a shot as it'll set us up for life. I'm so excited and itching to start. I like nothing better than to over come obstacles and I KNOW there are going to be LOADS, I just hope 5 years is enough.

Sorry I can't tell you what it is though, it's a secret, you'll find out in 5 years. Watch this space......blog......

Very very good ideas. I know about letting it gel before I share it with hubby. Otherwise I just blurt out stuff that has no real relevance and rambles. That's not what I'm trying to do, so I usually just think it over and wait.

It took me about 5 yrs to figure that out I've since learned that I can benefit in many more ways by waiting and biding my time.

I know, I'm sorry, I don't mean to tease everybody.

Good for you girl! Keep on visualizing and actually 'see it' working in your minds eye. What you 'think' about, you 'bring' about - so let all your thoughts be 'positve' ones.

- I have absolute faith in you accomplishing your goals. Over the next few years (which 'fly by') always 'see' the outcome you are predicting - never, doubt it and, should that happen, simply say to yourself - "cancel that thought"! Be strong willed (which I know you are).
You'll get there - mark my words.

It's a huge project, but you know me, I'm driven by some crazy will to succeed in everything I do, 'What Lynnie wants - Lynnie gets'...
I will be rolling in money one day, I can feel it in my bones. It's going to be an exciting ride. Just got to keep being hard as nails - ruthless to the soul and kick all obstacles where the sun don't shine

It is exciting, but already we have spent hours this morning going over various things, staying focused and positive is the main challenge. Although we all aim for the lucrative outcome, method clashes and time spans create conflict. I just need to teach people here how to be more constructive with they're suggestions. Am I a control freak, no, I hope not, I just see things in the long term. I have been know to be a risk taker, but this project needs to be executed properly for us to gain maximum effect.

you are one smart business woman! I don't know how you do it, with all the kids, keeping up the house and the husband.

The need for money drives me Plus, I get bored easily, I like a competitive challenge every now and then. The one thing that I always said I would do is to make sure the children are set up for when they leave school, I know they can follow any path they wish, but I want to make sure there's a safety net available if things don't work out for them. As you know, Joss is a black belt and once he's 18 he'll be able to teach himself. The triplets won't be long and they'll too have the teaching skills. One thing about karate, you don't loose a skill, it's imprinted on your brain - from hours of discipline training. How much each of the charge for a lesson is up to them. Private lessons would be more again; this way I know if anything ever happend to Roger and I we 're leave knowing the kids are able to be able to suport themselves if they are short of cash.
