The 02.22am can't sleep post!!

The only reason i'm awake is because I went to bed too early so now i'm paying for it!!!

I feel better safety wise, the new cctv system is working a treat, the only trouble is I can't seem to drag my eye's of the monitor! Before I had one screen and had to flick over camera frames, but now I'm eyeballing all 4 frames at the same time.

The system has an alarm which activates in doors if motion or sound disturbances are picked up outside; every so often one the cameras zoom in on whatever particualar source trigered it off - the bloody cats are freaking me out now lol!

The hair dye and the chicken run post!!!

And yes I did it again, I couldn't resist a hair dye! This time I bought Champagne Blonde for it's hint of pink, I followed the instructions to the 'T' ......well that was the plan anyway! I watched this beautiful colour develop and couldn't wait to be able to wash it off and see the final result. I was like wooohooo this will be lovely for my holiday in 2 weeks... but then FIL turned up with the chickens!

I was like 'no' ummm I'm stuck here, I have to wash my hair arghhhhh, but no matter we had to get the chickens settled in their new home. Before the could go into the coop Rog and fil had to re-comission the perches and with all the kids comming back and for I had to make sure they didn't open the box's the chicken came in. Before I knew it an hour and a half went by and the dye was still on my head :O.

I dahsed upstairs to look at my hair, the dye had turned bright plum! oh I was frigging sick to my stomach! I dashed into the bathroom and washed the dye off. The final result wasn't purple thank goodness but like a 'dull tanny pinky gold' it's really weird - I can't explain it lol. Everytime I look in the mirror I can't decide if I like it or not lol.

Damn! The sacrafices I'll make for a chicken !! .......actually 10 chickens! They're in debt to me already; they'd better be good layers lol.
