Ugh airlines: Nuff said!

I just had a call to say that Emily and Jordan had arrived safely but... the airline has lost Emilys suitcase!

How helpless does this mom feel when her daughters thousands of miles away and has no clothes but the clothes she wears on her back!

Im waitin for a phonecall from mil to see if they can trace her suitcase, other than there's nothing I can do but transfer money over to the hotel she's staying in. I don't even know if that'll work?

Anybody have any sugestions.

No clue what to do exact. I've lost my "suitcase', losted my car. Several times I even lost (couldn't find) my house. All I know, is when I sober I usually find stuff. My advice, don't panic.. figure out what happened (her fault or others), then get it back, and kick ass on the "faulty" one..

Hope this helps..

I hope they find her luggage soon and get it to her. MIL may have to spring for some new duds in the meantime.

I don't fly,in airplanes or otherwise.I'm afraid to.MIL might just have to go buy a few outfits for the time being.Call the airline and tell them you want to be reimbursed for the cost of the new clothes.Poor Emily,I hope this doesn't spoil her trip.Does the airline have any clue where it(suitcase)is?I'm so sorry this happened to Emily.Laurie

Lynnie,as for me always carry a set of clothing on my carry
on bag and have been doing this for years.
So,the next time pack some extra clothing on the carry on.
Though I never had a suitcase lost as of yet.

Thats a good idea Fredo, I will do this next time. I'm kinda wondering if all bagage is being held back because of the Madrid crash??? Then again everyone else had they're luggage. This was Em's first time flying, I know she's going to be cheeed off, she's a proper Hannah Montana kinda girl, hot headed to the end. I'm in 2 minds to fly over there and see whats going on! Then Roger tells me you can't fly with a leg cast? Sheesh! I'm going to have someones guts for this, let me at em let me at them - i'm a proper scrappy doo

I have had that happen (lost suitcase) one too many times! That's an awful feeling!

It frightens me, 1, because this is Emily's first time abroad, and 2 because I know she worried about loosing all her new clothes and blingage. I know she wants to come home right now, she hates mishaps
