I Need Technical Help.

My Laptop has been destroyed.

Here's a shot of the screen...

I was working on club things when James tripped over the wires, the laptop fell screen first, as you can see the screen is wasted, but what I want to know is there a way of retrieving the information stored in the drives? I wondered if I could take out the memory like you would with a normal tower? I'd rather sabotage it and buy a completely new one rather than claim off the insurance. The information stored is worth more to me than the laptop. Can anyone help?

OMG! Lynnie - last night, hubs spilled a glass of red wine behind his laptop and part of it splashed onto his keyboard. He jumped up, turned it upside down and thankfully, nothing came out of the keys. Our rug however . . . well that's another post! ;-)

Fredo has good advice. Check with where you bought it. If they can't retrieve the hard drive, they probably can tell you who can. Best of luck. That is one ugly screen!
