My camping trip turned out pretty good. Thursday night, I had a few of my close friends over for my birthday and we just hung out by the fire and chit chatted then got up Friday and loaded up the truck and headed out. Our trip was only about a 30 mile drive but ended up taking us over 2 hours because of traffic. At least the ride home was a fast one.
The weather was our friend until yesterday when we woke up to a flooded tent. It had rained the night before so bad that the water came through the bottom of the tent and soaked everything! I had to wear my pajama's home. GF must have drank too much because she was sick all day and didn't make it to work today. She needs to learn to maintain her drinking.
My ex husband came with my youngest daughter. I know, that's weird to camp with an ex but we are still good friends and get along great. He brought his motor home and even had a playstation in it with the game Rock Band so we all played that most of Saturday. I got totally addicted. Thank God I don't own something like that I wouldn't get anything done.
