Its now Monday-nine days after the triathalon accident and I'm healing but slowly. The hematoma on my knee is about the size of a plum-downsized from a grapefruit and the abrasions on the face, elbows and shoulders are slowly disappearing. My hand cannot fully grip-most likely a bone bruise but the xrays showed no fractures. I surmise that because I was physically active for most of my life, I'm healing faster-no curealls in the way of food and drink and no magic pills-just common sense and let the body do the rest. Actually, the psychological component is the most difficult to muster as i cannot do in training what I originally did. Being active now is taking out the garbage and loading the dishwasher-WEE!
