Yesterday, I took my Min-Pin Lucy to the vet for her steriod shot. She had kept me up the night before scratching herself. She is alergic to someting, but it would be soooo expensive to find out what, that I just take her in for shots. They last about 4 months. Later sneaked out and bought myself two pairs of shoes. She is beginning to need one and wanted to just buy it herself - but I said NO!! Everyone else gets one from Medicare and insurance and that is what she pays her dues for. It is a warm muggy day here, but I love it. It is always cool inside, so I can sit out and then come in when it gets too warm. My "lovely" Lucy bit my left hand when I was trying to put a bandage on her sore foot. Needless to say she is still bare. ... But on closer view -they came and sat on the patio with me - I don't know what kind of birds they were. They were shaped like cardinals, with some red feathers, but some a deep greenish color on the feathers toward their tails. Could they be young birds? I know there is a nest just behind my fence. Had a wonderful Mother's day with family at a grandson's house. The gdil's family was there also. She has a grandmother named Nina and he has one named Nena. That should keep them guessing. Had nerve tests done on legs this week - and good news, very little neuropathy and only in one foot. The dr. said it might not ever get any worse.
