Today is warm, muggy, and looks like rain - hope so. I am always grateful for rain - no watering by me needed then.

Have been sewing since I got the "new to me machine" and enjoying it. It works great and might become my favorite.

Did grocery shopping yesterday and naturally forgot something. So ran back this morning and finished up. I forgot the main things - cookies, bananas and bread. How could I?

Son John comes in today from "hob-nobbing" in Washington D.C. He has been lobbying for a bill to make congress buy from American air bus manufacturers instead of the french
Air-Bus. Don't know why anyone would have to tell them that. We should all buy American when possible. He has been meeting with congressmen-and women all week. I believe Boeing makes them here.

Have not heard from IRS since they requested the last info. They say we can take care of all over the phone. I have never been able to do that before, but hope so. My husband and I were audited twice and I always just took a check-book ( and needed it.)

Time to start lunch. I may have pork-roast and fresh veges.
Get hungry just thinking of good zucchinis. I broil them with onions on top and they are delicious - with lemon pepper only.
