This first map is of the province of British Columbia in Canada. The green square near the bottom of the map is the area in the second map.
This second map shows our route, in green, from Port Alberni, past Coombs, Qualicum Beach and Commox to Little River. First ferry trip from Little River to Powell River, drive down the cost to Saltery Bay. Another ferry to Earls Cove then down the hwy through Madeira Park, Halfmoon Bay, Sechelt and Roberts Creek to Gibsons. We returned home via the same route.

Wow, so you backtracked the whole thing? So, exactly how long did this trip take? I am so not familiar with your part of the world, I'm ashamed to say, that I am really fascinated and interested in the map, the pics you have been posting, and all the information pertaining to your trip that you have been sharing. It appears, according to the map, that you really covered quite a bit of ground, something that I would very much enjoy.
