DH spent the afternoon weed whacking behind the neighbour's fence just to improve our view. The slobs never do anything to the lane side of their property. Most everyone else mows the little strip of grass at the back of their property but not these lazy people. Believe it or not, there is a chesterfield up against the fence, hiding under the tangle of weeds. They were out in their back yard while DH was working on it. They neither offered to help nor said thank you. Lazy slobs!
I haven't got a picture but our fence is all stained and the grass is growing like crazy. We'll be mowing it in a couple of weeks. Our back yard looks great!

we have one of these next door.Slobs they are.
Your yard must be looking great. I am waiting for a picture.
I don't mow that section very often, but it doesn't look like that.
Mowing season is still going stong here. Nothing is much nicer than a freshing manicured lawn!
Poking around, I glimpsed the title to this post, and knew right away it had to be your post. Not that you are the only one with slob neighbors. I like that word Chesterfield - we don't use it in this part of the country, but know what it means.
Some people just don't take any pride in their property nor do they care what the neighbors think. It always irked me when I had to live next door or behind someone like that.
We're kind of happy around here that mowing season is over, but at least you'll get to see the results of your work now!
