My Mamacita is cooking my Mother's Day gifts!
They're her version of burritos and tacos. She was born and raised in Phoenix and learned from beloved Hispanic neighbors.
Tacos: lean ground beef or chicken, diced green chiles, onions, lettuce, tomato - wrapped taquito style and fried in a skillet using only Pam. To keep the tacos in a tube, she spears them w/a toothpick.
Burritos: homemade frijoles, onions, diced green chiles, red potatoes, lean ground beef or chicken, wrapped in whole wheat tortillas.
They will be ready for an early dinner! Yum-O!
