I don't usually watch American Idol, but while I lived up in Eugene, hubs got into it w/our friends.

So last night, one contestant was voted off. Syesha. That left two Davids: one who is 17 and the other 25 y/o.

My vote is on Cook. We'll see.

I hate the hype and the crap that goes with the show, and the fact that the voting is controlled by anyone whose Daddy could buy a cell phone, and that Abdul person is an idiot and that the Cowell person is the only sane one on the panel, and that the black guy needs to learn to say more than "dude" and "dog" - with all that aside - there is some great talent that comes out of that show that would never have seen the light of day. My vote is for Cook, the other one looks and sings like a Henson Muppet.
