Finally wrote in for tix to the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Hers is the only show that consecutively makes me laugh out loud.

The show is taped in Burbank @ the NBC Studios.

It's fun to go to these, b/c you get to appreciate what goes on behind the scenes.

Took my Mom to Dr. Phil's Show in 2006, and it was interesting to learn about the taping process. In this case, the show was about obesity, so there were two stories. One was an obese mother who ordered her adolescent daughter around like a servant. Another was a man who weighed close to a ton. Dr. Phil's intervention was to get them to address their obesity as well as take behavioral modification sessions.

I'd really love to get tix to the Jimmy Kimmel Show since that's also local. We love him.
