‹ chat statusArrived near midnight! Today, they unpacked their trailer (mostly music instruments and gear) and headed out to the beach to meet friends he hasn't seen in 6+ months.
Our boy was born/raised near the ocean, and loves water.
Life for him the past 6 months has been moving to Asheville, NC w/2 other friends, getting a job, and doing gigs for Herb Alpert and Sergio Mendes here and abroad.
Somewhat surrealistic, very sobering, and huge lessons learned - he's glad to be back in SoCal, 'home'. Same can be said about my life in Oregon this past year.
We're glad to have him back with us until his forthcoming roommate returns from touring in September.
Ah. Life.
