Um... last year in May/07, I saw this infomercial on a very cool, very ergo trimmer/edger claiming to be one of those 3-in-one kinda things.

Don't usually fall for things like this, but this product looked ideal for those who like to garden/trim/edge...

I signed up for it. They sent it. Bought it for a Father's Day gift. Hubs didn't want it. Tried to return it. No legitimate address or contact number.

Here it is, August 08 and I receive a notice for collection! They claim that $66.66 (see anything strange here in the numbers?) is the balance due.

I have until 8/14/0 to send a payment. Hubs doesn't want a bad credit record, so we mailed our check.

[sorry, had to momentarily look at the opening ceremonies of Beijing - the awesome "choreography/visual display of the 2008 drummers on computers" - sequentially!

Damn! After seeing something like that in person, how in the world can Fantasmick top that?!!! ;-] (ok, for those of you who never saw it at Disneyland/DisneyWorld - it is a splendiferous audio-visual presentation of everything Disney, a part live-show, part computerized show that will take your breath away the first time you see it.

Um. Ciao! Gotta watch the Opening Ceremony with the attention it's due!

Geez! And you never once used the trimmer?
As for the Olympics, I'm passing. If I want to watch the Chinese show off, I'll visit Wal-Mart.

Haven't use the trimmer yet, but since I ended up having to pay for it, I intend to use it on the pesky weeds underneath the elephant ears out front. Aw...visiting Wal-Mart will NEVER compare to the opening ceremonies. Re: the job search, I've got an interview next week w/the principal of McGregor Creative, Inc. down the block. He's an Art Center alum and likes to view the portfolios of other alums. He emailed to say he'd like to add me to his freelancing list. Fingers crossed!
