What a difference a day makes.....

The boys are back at school today. I will bring my youngest in after lunch for his PM kindergarten....

He ha a touch of Autism and keeps my mornings busy....

It is real hard for him to change gears and schedule. So today will be a challenge for him.
He will do fine as I try to teach him that life is an adventure....and he tries to teach me how ugly it is to control ones life....together, I think we will learn to let go and not be under the thumb of those who believe their intentions are good.

I want my sons to grow and be the different drummer, dance to their own beat, and be comforted by it...

Freedom....is an all around good thing

It's funny, I have always tried to encourage my sons to be who they are. The older one chose law enforcement. The younger one is still making those life decisions, but he'll work it out. My mom and dad always gave me my freedom of choice and I chose being an actress, a writer and finally a teacher.Funny how things work out. I just know that they're the best thing I ever did.

Finding that happy medium between direction and freedom is the great challenge of all parents.

Today, I want to sing--I'm Free....I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! LOL
