This year I am trying to control infestation in my garden. So far, I have some blight on the tomato's. They look sick. I do not know what causes this, but I tried spraying. Time will tell if anything comes of it. They are starting to produce, but small fruit only so far. Last year I lost all my squash and cucumber plants. It was a bug burrowing into the stem and laying eggs. The plants all died! This year I moved the planting to try to avoid this. I am spraying. I got a tip from the Internet to put play sand around the stems, which is supposed to keep the bugs from getting to the plant. Here again, time will tell. I love gardening. I grow most items that I use in Mexican dishes and salsa. I have invented a "Green Tomato-Green Pepper Sweet&Sour salsa. It goes well with hot dogs and brats. I have also used it with Grilled Salmon. Any comments?
