This week the weather here in Southern Ohio has been to the extremes. Early this week, I was able to spray the first finish coat on wall cabinets I made for our Utility room. Then, the weather got very cold with rain, snow, and winds. Now I will have to be patient and wait for warmer sunny weather, so I can finish those cabinets. I do not have a spray booth in the shop. I am working on a design that will use plastic drapes hanging from the garage door rails, like in the hospital. Then I plan on making an exhaust fan enclosure from an old fan I picked up at an auction. I will fit in the door opening, so I can close the door unto it. It will include furnace filters for input air. That way I will be able to spray anytime without getting over spray all over the shop. I will also be able to control the dust.
Being retired now, and on my own time, there is no hurry. What a relief not having to get up and go to work. It was stressful because I had to drive 50 miles. I need to set enough time aside for family. I am also beginning to have trouble with Arthritis. Sometimes it not that great getting old! We are having to adjust to less income. I went to the store to get a few things, and it was a shock how much it cost. I guess I will be planning a garden to help out. It will be FUN right?
