I am considering accepting a job 50 miles from home. At the present gas prices, I estimate that it will cost me $12.00 per day. I would like to suggest that employers reduce the number of days for a work week to 4 days @ 10 hours per day. This would save me $50.00 per month. Also, look at the reduction in cost for the employer. With jobs being sent overseas, everyone would save. Why don't we all start letting our employers know how we feel, and accept the fact that we would be able to spend more time with family or enjoying a three day weekend. The only problem with this is there are so many people working swing shifts. I do not have an answer for them.
