  Is it Real??

I had the most unfortunate experience of taking a friend to the hospital emergency room, and while waiting for her, being forced into watching about a half an hour of TV station MS-NBC, the last 15 minutes of a Rachael Meadows, and the first 15 minutes of a Keith Olbermann. I do not know what it is that these two are trying to convey, it is definitely not truthful, honest, and/or real news and information. But, they did not seem to be going for the all-out over the top weirdo pseudo-comedy of Jon Stewart or Steven Colbert. Do people watch these nut-cases every night? Do people know or care that what is being said (reported) is pure fantasy fabrication? How and why is this garbage allowed on the air - maybe this is really why we need a return of the "Fairness Doctrine." The First Amendment guarantees freedoms to the press, but there is no guarantee to us the public that anything will be true!!!

There is so much garbage on TV. It's a shameful waste of good air time. Good thing we don't have to watch it.
