Asian Cucumber Salad

I don't usually get all crazy about food but i just bought this salad at Down to Earth (our local health food store) and OH MY GOODNESS it is fantastic and I need to share the ingredients with you. The flavor just bounces on my tongue and the it's spicy and yummy!!!

Japanese Cucumbers
Red Onions
Carrots
Red Bell Peppers
Cilantro
Rice Vinegar
Agave Nectar
Red Chili Flakes
Sea Salt

YUMMY!!!

Okay, I give up--what makes them "Japanese" cucumbers?? Are they grown in Japan or are they different than regular cucumbers--and just curious--how much did it cost for how much salad??? (I, generally, find 'health food stores' greatly overpriced!)

It was a bit overpriced but well worth it. This is why i gave the ingredients. I am sure you could make it cheaper at home. The Japanese cucumbers taste the same as a regular one.

I have a heap of cucumbers in the poly tunel that are either going to be on sale or (like you sugested) making good use of them, I WILL try this, i'm taking your word that it tastes great. Thanks for the sugestion Dale
