The Black Cauldron

Disney's first PG-rated animated film is a thrilling swords-and-sorcery epic that will amaze older children. In an ancient land, the dreaded Horned King (voiced by John Hurt) is trying to gain control of the Black Cauldron to raise an army of the dead. And unless a boy, a princess and a fortune-telling pig can stop him, the world will be doomed.

I remember this show from when I was just a little keiki. Still enjoyed it. 4 stars. David hadn't seen this as of yet so it was good to expose him to yet another good show from my childhood.

This was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I always thought it interesting that Disney chose to present the second book in the Prydian Chronicles without ever doing any of the rest.
