The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns

A magical adventure unfolds when American Jack Woods (Randy Quaid) rents a quaint cottage in Ireland & finds, to his dismay, that the house is inhabited by a family of leprechauns. When one of the little guys (Colm Meaney) and his son crash the fairies' ball, a feud between the leprechauns & the fairies is rekindled. The Grand Banshee (Whoopi Goldberg) warns of terrible consequences, and Jack is chosen to make peace.

2-3 stars. Was an okay story with a few famous names appearing. Loved the imagery used and loved the costumes. I am not a huge fan of Randy Quaid so to see him in this role was a bit weird for me but all in all it was an ok show.

I just recently saw Wall-E, and was both delighted and enchanted. the children were so taken with it they were absolutely silent! Somewhere the spirit of the best part of Walt Disney still lives. I recommend it highly.

I do believe that we have all become entirely too critical of the movies served up for our entertainment. If you don't want to spend twelve bucks, wait. It will be on video eventually, and much cheaper. Not every Movie is going to be Star Wars. Not all of them will be The Wind In The Willows, but there are plenty of heart warming movies out there. Keep on looking. You can often find them at the public library for loan. You can't beat those rates! There is no dearth of good movies, old and new! Enjoy!

your totally correct. We are Netflix members (which is one of the main reasons we watch such a HUGE variety of films) and I recommend it for anyone. The only time I will spend $12 for a movie is if It has TONS of special effects & is something I would want to see on the big screen. Most movies I would much rather watch at home.

Ray and I have a huge disagreement about this one. He loves this one ... and me not so much.
