I have just been so busy of late. It is 9:42 p.m. and this is the first time that I have really sat down to relax. I have been up and down the rest of the time.

My roses needed some serious attention, which they finally received this evening. In addition, I cut a limb off this huge cherry tree Saturday because it was growing into my crepe myrtle tree and killing it.

That necessitated then cutting it up, so that the disposal people could handle picking it up. Yesterday I got all but the parent limb cut into manageable pieces. This evening, I got all those carried from my back yard to the disposal area.

Tomorrow evening I will make one last cut on the trunk section, take it to the disposal area, and I'll be finished. I am one of these people who can't leave a task half-done. Once I begin something, I have to finish it; and it eats at me until I do.

I have some other things going as well that are taking up a good deal of my time.

I do apologize for not getting your posts answered as soon as I should. Please bear with me. Things are going to continue to be hectic for quite some time to come, but I'll do my best.

We are so very much alike in many ways. I know exactly what you are saying about finishing something that you begin! Drives you crazy, doesn't it? Take all the time that you need, for we will be here whenever you return.

It's okay! We all have other parts of life that need attention too. I know I always feel badly when I haven't been able to respond to people or even to have the time to go out and read blogs. Heck, sometimes I don't even find the time to write them!
I am glad that I finally figured out who you are...and who you were on blogster. You know me as well....the islandgirl! Glad to be living closer to your neck of the woods now! Got to see the horrific ice storm damage you had written about from this winter. But in time, nature will heal herself! Hugs to ya'll!!

Last summer when the tree trimmer was here, I made a point of calling the manager to specifically ask that he cut this branch off because it was killing my crepe myrtle tree. She assured me he would. He trimmed every tree around it and never cut off the limb. It was either cut it off myself or lose my crepe myrtle, which I didn't want to have happen.
