I had some free time this afternoon, so I caught up on the lastest posts of most of my friends.
Yesterday morning, I had to get up at 5:30 in order to be at the nursing home at 7:00 to go with Mother to the outpatient clinic at the hospital to have her cat scan done.
Then I went to Kenna's office and worked til about 2. I have been helping her with some office work. I spend about twenty hours a week there. Provides a little extra cash for items I want but could live without--like food, clothing, shelter, gasoline--just a few of those things we all LIKE to have!
At any rate, when I got home yesterday, I was so tired because I had not slept well the night before, aside from having to rise at the unholy hour of 5:30 A.M., that I fell asleep on the divan and didn't stir til 10:30 in the evening.
I got up, went to the bathroom, and promptly went straight to bed. I didn't awaken until 6:30 this morning. But, I feel so much better today.
I have to go to the pharmacy to pick up a couple of prescriptions, so I will blog more later. Have a good evening all. One last thing! I received a call from my country cousin today--you know, the one who drives the red impala. Seems she will be coming through tonight, so she wanted to borrow my computer to catch you all up on all her latest misadventures. Look for her post either tonight or tomorrow. I am anxious to discover what she has to say, because quite frankly I don't ever have a clue what is going to come out of her head and onto paper. It will be fun and interesting though. It always is!!
