I don't know too many people who are as honest or upfront about their personal life as you are my friend Of all the the things I like/respect about you is your candor and honesty
You could do what my wife did with me Heather..relegating me to the couch
I can understand how you feel(visits & phone calls)If I was in this situation I'd probably feel the same way. I think I can speak for most of the people who love and cherish you here(myself included)when I say all we hope and pray for is a speedy recovery

I know while traveling lifes path we make choices, we turn right when we should have gone left. We must live with these choices and continue on, for we can either learn from choices or dwell upon them. I hope they can learn from all this and it will make them more productive individuals

You said you wouldn't die until I become published..so I am holding to thatLike Bugg said..we will not entertain any other thought then you will come through this with flying colors
With people living longer I believe that this situation will need further addressing. I know in my own case my parents(85&81)have talked about moving into a facility, but not a nursing home.
I am speechlessThat is about the cruelest thing that I have heard. I know no amount of money can bring a loved one back...but maybe that hospital will think twice the next time they are in this position
Your undying(no pun intended)optimism will serve you well..just don't forget to leave a 15% tip
