Republicans: the Change You Deserve? Effexor?

Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, today explained the new reinvigorated Republican agenda this way.

“The Republican agenda: The Change You Deserve is directed at America’s families, … We’re talking about an agenda for working families in today’s world. And it’s not he family of yesterday, and it’s not the family that we hope tomorrow. It’s talking directly to people and where they live,” Granger said.

House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio didn’t mention the slogan Wednesday morning, but said the main roll-out later Wednesday would focus on fixing Washington.

“I think when you consider that Americans believe Washington’s broken, we have to show them how it can be fixed, and the fact that we’re committed to fixing Washington,” Boehner said.

Smart guys....a little Effexor...appropriate "The Change you deserve...

But beware if you swallow their new slogan, it may just cause:

No thanks, I've had enough change for the last 7 plus years...

Agreeing with jondude, change is what the ordinary folks have left after the top dogs take the bucks. I heard they changed the change slogan to "The Change America Deserves" I want to add "is Obama".

I didn't mean "can", I meant "can't". The world and the U.S. CAN'T afford more Republican "change". (I've gotta talk to Eddie about being able to edit these damned comments!!!!)

Boehner and Cantor completely distorted an Obama statement to read that he was appeasing terrorists.
Lying is no change at all.

That's an old Army song. "Oh you knucklehead! Marchin' down the avenue. Three hundred days and you'll be through."

We couldn't win it in the last five, so what makes him think we will win it in four?

Change to a Republican is what you have left over when you use a five dollar bill to pay for a gallon of gas.
