  Fortune Cookies

On March 30, 2005, there were 110 winners of the Powerball lottery. All of the numbers were picked from fortune cookies made by the Wonton Food Company. The numbers were 22, 28, 32, 33, and 39. The number 40 did not match the powerball number 42, so 89 were second place winners. They won $100,000 each. Twenty-one of them won the $500,000 because they did pick the correct powerball powerball number, 42. At first the officials of the lottery suspected fraud, but did find that the company had printed cookies with the correct five numbers. (Information from Wikipedia)

If you don't believe me, look at my bookmark, "Events Calendar." Of course, it is a blatant advertisement (except Fredo's birthday).

Jeri, I swear I wrote you a comment. I thought it went flying into space, but I can't find it anywhere. I was saying that Fredo's birthday was three days ago, and I should keep up with my messages much more consistently.

my fortune reads something about the universe guiding my life. that'd be good, ESPECIALLY for my astronomy olympiad semifinals next week! and happy may 1!
comment by raragoe on May 1, 2008 3:33 AM ()
Now, you see Rara? The universe connects directly to your astronomy project... so you were meant to do the astronomy all along!
