Hello to everyone out there in la-la land, here on a Sunday morning. To begin with, teal pointed out I needed to check my messages, (which I never pay any attention to there at the top of the screen). Greasy needs to make the envelope flash like a Christmas light or copy AOL and have it say "You've got mail," etc.

I'm going through all the messages now--there was about 75, dating back to March and April up to now. So anyone who left a message, I wasn't ignoring you, it was an oversight. My computer is so slow I keep a crossword puzzle next to it to work on while I'm waiting for Methuselah to pull up the next message. If this compooter had a neck, I'd strangle it.

Anyway, I just have to brag about something--I paid my credit card off! I have one credit card I use for emergencies, and have put charges on it like computer repair at $100.00 a pop numerous times (but no more,) a new water heater, car repairs $500.00 twice--for a car I no longer own, a recliner, plumbing repair, big things like that I don't want to write checks for etc.

I thought I'd feel more elated when that last payment went out in the mail..but being a cynic I know soon as you pay one off, the other shoe is waiting to drop. But for now--this small window of time, it's paid off at last.

And now that summer is officially here, I can say I did not have a cold the entire last winter. Maybe a combo of the flu shot, my first ever, and a pneumonia vaccination did the trick. Yea! Now it's back to reading messages.
