Before Fay leaves us...that is. She's still here, breezy and nasty. The sky is a dark grey and it has rained all day long. The funny thing about that is that yesterday, when they called school, it wasn't that bad. It's worse today and the wind never lets up. This is "short day" though and we always get out an hour earlier than usual.
Last night my sons kept texting me from a sports bar in GA where they were having dinner. they were playing a trivia game and of course hubby and I were helping them. I was just so happy that they were having fun. Seems like life hasn't been much fun for either of them since the events of this summer. When they called and told us they won the trivia game and got their meals free, I was thrilled for both of them. They are both so young to have gone through so much, but then I'm one to talk.
At 18, my sister in law was murdered and I somehow made it reeling through that shock to the system. Then I lost more family and finally parents. Lots of "stuff" that forms and shapes us into who we are. Amazing how we withstand the trials of life and still stay positive. I'm working on it, but it's definitely not the easiest thing to do.
anyway, off to Wallyworld today for a few groceries and vitamins. Later...
