  I'm Okay, Honest

It's Tuesday after a long weekend and it's actually pretty outside. The sky is very blue and little dots of white clouds are about. I understand it will rain later. Hannah is pointed sort of toward us, but not really. She may just sideswipe us with more rain, which is upsetting considering that parts of Florida are already underwater. Of course we have Ike and possibly Josephine out there meandering around to contend with. Ahhhhh, Florida life.

I'm ready to move, quite matter-of-factly. Tired of the weather and the hurricane seasons. Ready but where would I go? Everybody has some type of weather or natural problem to contend with. Out west you have earthquakes, midwest you deal with tornadoes and the like, then there are blizzards (I'm not going anywhere where there is snow. Nope, been there done that. Dug my car out once to often and had the snow plows come around and plow it under.) Nope, everybody has something to deal with. Rain in Seattle, although I absolutely love Seattle. Cooler in San Francisco, although I love An Francisco. So where to go? Who the heck knows.

It will be a short week and only 48 days till my cruise. Huzzah! That's something to celebrate. My travel buddy says she's already got her bags packed! I'm thinking about it. Okay, stuff to do, windows to board up, etc. etc. (just kidding) Later.

I'm hoping we don't get any hurricanes here in Hawaii either. The last one to hit Hawaii was Hurricane Iniki. It did a lot of damage to Kauai, I believe.

Come to the hills of N. Ga. Shoot, all we have to worry about is Big Foot asking to stay for dinner. Oh yeah, and all the wonderful Red Necks...of which I'm Queen!! Choo Choo Town is quite nice.

This definitely sounds like it is going to be a really busy hurricane season. I don't think I could manage being in the line of fir like that.
