I have to go to my job at Universal today and really, after having yesterday to laze around, I feel pretty rested. Boy did I need that. Older son is over and we had a barbecue last night and watched National Treasure 2 which I thought was a really fun movie. I enjoy action films like that very much. This weekend I hope to get caught up on some movie watching and go see a couple that I've missed because I work so much. Would you believe next week end, I have a 3 day weekend? For me that will be like a mini vacation! Alright!

Anyway, it was a good day yesterday. Lots is happening here at home. Younger son is supposed to find out if he is accepted into UGA next week. If he is, he and older son are moving there together. Older son wants to get his masters degree. A little over a week ago, he resigned from the police force. He said he cannot become something that he is not. He said he wants to treat all men with dignity and not assume that they are all perpetrators, unfortunately the police do not teach you to treat the public that way. I personally think he'll end up in law enforcement, but something where he gets to deal with it in a different way. He's going to get his masters in psychology I think so he'll probably end up evaluating these guys for the police department. Now that would be funny.

By the way, Lilah had egg, rice cereal(baby food), and some baby food beef this a.m. and ate like a pig. She seems better to me, please keep your prayers and good thoughts coming this way.

Anyway, we went through a lot of stress here, but all is better now. Just hanging on to get through the summer. Got to get ready for work soon. Later.

Glad you enjoyed a little break and some fun and relaxation. Kudos, too, to your older son for choosing to find a career that really meshes with his needs and personality. All the best to your college-bound son, too!

Life is too short to be stuck in a career you don't want, especially since he has a degree and can do whatever he really wants to do. He's still not sure what he wants, but he knows it is definitely not that.

You are soon going to have an empty house of kids. It is a bit sad and also, you find you can do what you would like for yourself after you get over the shock of being childless. I was more "alive" when my sons were home - gave me more of a reason to get up. My dear husband was the other reason. Is Lilah a new puppy? I must have missed the blog when you told about her. Nena
