This a.m. I made a firm decision that I'd get up early enough to go for my walk. So, I hopped up at 7:00 a.m., stretched out and took off for a couple of mile "wog" I like to call it. It's a combination of a walk jog. I jogged about 1/2 of the time and walked fast the other half. I was so awake when I got home. Actually, I was energized and felt great. Now, at 11:21 a.m. I'm starting to feel that slow downhill spiral.
They changed the school times this year. I've always worked from 7:20 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This year someone upstairs had the bright idea to switch with the middle school. I don't start til 9:30, which means I get home about 5:00. It leaves nothing of your day left to do "stuff". You know "stuff" that junk you always have to take care of -- like running to the grocery store, playing with the dogs, swimming in your pool, answering emails, getting on Greasy and visiting. That's why I'm not around much, I can't seem to adjust to the new times.
Went out last night with travel buddy and we're planning our jaunt to Mexico already. I can't wait for that moment when we sit down on the deck and take a deep breath of sea air and just look out at the beauty that is the ocean. There is something that is so calming about that. No cellphones, no computers just me and the ocean. Maybe I'll bring a good book and just spend those 4 days wandering the ship and just enjoying being away from life as it has been. Sounds relaxing doesn't it? Yep, sounds that way to me as well.
Okay, back to work. I will try to get on later if I can get done with all my "stuff." Miss you guys a lot!
