So, I went shopping last night, but to no avail. Walked into Jacques Pen-nay (JDPenny) and was looking at gowns that were on sale. Found a red one in what I thought was my size and took it in to try it on. It wouldn't zip. I thought, but everything I've bought lately is my new size, what's the deal? I looked at the tag. It was a junior size! Please, junior? I haven't been a junior since high school. I laughed, took it back and found the misses section. There was NOTHING and when I say NOTHING I mean, less than NOTHING! Depressed, and hurridly walked past the shoe section by my husband and son, of course shoes are my absolute passion (P.S. I'm going back for a pair of turquoise sandals with a lot of bling on them because they are too cute to pass up.)I came home, wondering what the heck am I going to wear.
I starting nosing around in my "small size" closet and I fouind a gem. A slinky black mid-length dress with a nice slit up the back. It was a small size that I had bought when I came off of Atkins years ago. I forgot it. I tried it on and it fit in all the right places. I thought, I'll go to STeinmart (who has a great formal wear section by the way) and see if I can't find a cool sparkly jacket to wear with this. Get some really great jewelry and shoes and I'll have it done! So, that's my plan. Steinmart will be my answer and I have a 20% off coupon, I just remembered!! Now, maybe I can sleep tonight!
