It's been about five days since I have been on here. Just haven't really been into blogging much. Have had a LOT going on in my life and haven't really felt like doing anything. I think that we all get that way and just want to withdraw for awhile and think. I do know several besides my family are going through difficult times either financially, emotionally, and physically, and maybe all of the above. I tend to internalize things and keep them in put on a happy face and go on. I'm not saying that is a good thing it is just me. I have always been that way. I always felt deep within me I needed to be the strong one. As I have said before my Dad was very sick while I was growing up and then passed away when I was 17 years old. Also I played all kinds of sports from 7th grade through high school. I remember the times getting injured and just not letting on that you were hurt because you didn't want anyone to think you weren't tough enough to take it.
Sometimes, our emotions get the best of us and we can't hide how we feel. It is part of life. I got this prayer in my e-mail box and thought that I would share it with everyone. It is for all of those (me included) who are going through rough times.
Prayer for Anxious People
Father, I pray for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends who are carrying heavy loads...
Your Word says an anxious heart weighs a person down, and this is how I think they must feel—as if they're carrying heavy loads, more than they can bear. When they feel upset and beside themselves, calm them down and comfort them with the assurance of Your love. Help them not be overwhelmed by anxious thoughts. (Proverbs 12:25a; Psalm 94:19)
Our hearts are not supposed to be troubled; but that's their struggle—help them trust You and the Lord Jesus, as I know they must. Help them understand that You are the One who makes a way when things seem impossible; nothing is too hard for You! (John 14:27; Isaiah 43:19; Jeremiah 32:17; Luke 1:37)
Help them be faithful to You and to the way You want them to live, for You guard the lives of those who are faithful; You protect them and never turn away from them. Help them know You as their fortress, as the rock in whom they take refuge, as One who is good, whose love endures forever, whose faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 97:10; Proverbs 2:8; Psalm 37:28; 94:22; 100:5)
In Jesus' name, amen.

"Somebody's Praying" By Ricky Skaggs
Somebody's praying; I can feel it
Somebody's praying for me
Mighty hands are guiding me
To protect me from what I can't see
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
Somebody's praying for me
Angels are watching; I can feel it
Angels are watching over me
There's many miles ahead till I get home
Still I'm safely kept before your throne
Cause Lord I believe, Lord I believe
Your angels are watching over me
Well, I've walked the barren wilderness
Where my pillow was a stone
And I've been through the darkest caverns
Where no light had ever shown
Still I went on cause there was someone
Who was down on their knees
And Lord, I thank you for those people
Praying all this time for me
Somebody's praying; I can feel it
Somebody's praying for me
Mighty hands are guiding me
To protect me from what I can't see
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
Somebody's praying for me.
Somebody's praying for me.
