Let The Good Times Roll - The Cars

Awwwwwwwwwwww what a fun day today was. Beautiful sunny day with rich blue skies and rather warm. My son was off today and asked me to go with him birthday shopping. Hubby's birthday is later this week so away we went. He wanted to get his Dad some gifts. We had a good time. We went to Best Buy first and there weren't very many people in there being a Monday afternoon. We shopped around and then came up on "Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero". Usually every time we are in there someone is playing it but, today no one was. So, I tried my hand at it. Soooooo much fun. Now, I play a "real guitar" but, have to say that both of these help your coordination skills. Hmmmmm I know what I would like for Christmas. The "Rock Band" one comes with two guitars and a drum set. My son was playing the drums and me on the guitar what a blast!!! LOL

Then we went on to Borders Bookstore, JoAnn's craft store and Michael's craft store, stop at the gas pump, then to Sonic to grab something to eat and drink!! :) Son, treated me with a meal and Route 44 drink it was over 90 degrees outside. Yep, summer is still hanging on here but, the nights are cooling into the low 60's. :) Then, we stopped by the grocery store for a few things and on home. My son works a lot of hours with both jobs and was in dance competitions all weekend with the dance studio he works for "Arthur Murry". So, we don't get to see him very often and today was just a Mom and son day very nice. I can't believe he will be 20 in February!! I had a good leg day too. I think the weather affects that bone. Today was nice, low humidity and very clear. Reminded me a lot like New Mexico weather. :)

Even though times are uncertain these days as far as the economy we just enjoyed going out and enjoying the day and the beautiful weather and our time together!!:) While we were in the craft stores we enjoyed looking at all of the Halloween, Fall, and Christmas stuff. While we were in the Christmas section they were playing Christmas music which is kind of early but, that is my favorite time of the year!!:)

We had a great day Buggs!! Really enjoyed our time together! Just don't get to see him much these days as he stays so busy and isn't home much. I had a Sweet Cherry Lime-ade!! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

What a wonderful sounding day. After counseling tomorrow hubby and I are going to buy a HD TV, I've waited long enough for one. Love ya!!!

Thanks Barb!! Yes it sure was. One of those kind of days you wish could go on and on. I wish you and your hubby the best!! WOW an HD TV!! Cool! My hubby wants one of those too. You hang in there kiddo it will get better. Love ya too!!
