‹ chat statusLast night since it is already Saturday morning we had a nice time. We went to our Vet's office purchased the dogfood, treats, and more rawhides for our two pups. Then, we went to *Rosa's Tortilla Factory* for supper. Yummmm!!!:) Then onto Kohl's to buy Nathan some new tennis shoes, underwear, and a shirt. They had some really good sales going on. Nathan and I went there last night and Nathan got himself some socks, some flip flops, and a new tie. The tie was regular $28.00 and it was only $2.80. He has to wear dress pants, dress shirts, ties, and dress shoes where he works at Aurther Murray World of Dance as a dance instructor. This evening we went back and got the other things I mentioned. Nathan bought me two screen t-shirts. I bought myself a U.S.A. cap. It is sooo cute. It is pink camo. Nathan got himself some new board shorts and a sleeveless shirt to wear to the concert today. Scott got a pair of sleep pants that have Snoopy the Red Barron on them. They were only $2.00 on sale. After we went shopping we then went to see the "Get Smart" movie. That was so funny!! We all enjoyed it and laughed so hard!! It is a good one. After the movie we went to Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors Ice Cream and each had some ice cream. It was a wonderful evening just another family outing but special for us like all of them are!!:) Today Nathan and his friends are going to that Christian concert I wrote about a couple of days ago. Later today Scott and I will go see Mom visit with her and take her shopping and go eat somewhere. One more week until the 4th. We will be going to see Scott's family next weekend. We will leave on a Thursday evening the 3rd and come back on the 6th Sunday. I am feeling better. My Mom insisted and my doctor and pharmacist agreed that I get the pneumonia shot since I was exposed to Mom. So, I got the shot a couple of days ago. I am ok except for my arm being a bit sore, bruised, and swollen. But, the alternative would be so much worse especially with my asthma. We have a chance of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow evening. I would like for it to but after the concerts. It has been hot and humid the past coupld of days especially tonight. We took the pups for their walk this evening when we got home and kind of hot and humid out there. It was still 90 at 11:00 p.m. It has cooled down to 86 but feels like 90 at almost 2:00 a.m.
Now on a more negative note!!!! We almost got our gas tank full on our Ford Windstar. OMG!!! It costs $90.00. Hubby said he stopped when it reached $90.00 he couldn't stomache it going any higher than that!! Can you imagine??? Just crazy!! Absolutely crazy!! And I heard on the news and saw it too yesterday when they showed that oil had reached another record high of $140.00 a barrel!!! Just unbelievable!!
Looks like another busy weekend so, don't know how much I will be on here. Hope everyone has a good one!!

Yes, we love to shop at Kohl's. I forgot to mention I think that we got a new coffee pot there too that night.
Sounds as if you are having great fun! Your son is a delight! I do hope your mom is doing better... she is such a dear!

now that is my kind of fun! wish I could have gone with you guys! we had a storm last night but its still hot and humid here. the sticky factor is very high. 
I need to go to kohl's and see what bargains I can find! might have to talk hubby into going tonight. have a great weekend sis!
Hope you are having a great weekend too. I couldn't sleep. I'm not having a good asthma day/night. But it did rain and cool things off here so that is good. I just don't do well with big fluctuations in the temperature either hot or cold. Got to 102 yesterday and the heat index was 110!!
