Well Scott and I didn't go to Kaboom town last night but Nathan did with some of his friends. We decided to wait and go to one of our *closer* local fireworks displays.  It was a nice 4th for us!  Scott cooked steaks, burgers, and hotdogs out on the grill along with corn on the cob and baked beans.   We ate and then the three of us went to a neighborhood close by to view the display.  It is the same place we went to last year and the family on the corner remembered us.  They brought out extra chairs for us to sit in.  We sat in our van last year and watched them and then finally got out and stood.  So, as we were leaving and thanking them for their chairs they said...Well we'll see you next year.:)  We said probably so!  We got home in just a few minutes and avoided all of the traffic jams.  It is perfect!!  Next year we will remember to bring our chairs. Lol!!  It wasn't too hot and the humidity is low so it made for a very nice evening. 

Now onto Mom.  She is back in the hospital.  She went back in yesterday. *Sigh*  She is not over what she had when she was in there less than two weeks ago.  She is in a different hospital and her lung doctor is seeing after her.  They said it was bronchitis and I'm sure the pneumonia is hanging on.   We plan on going to see her tomorrow.  I'm about half afraid to because I don't want to get worse.  I am on antibiotic right now for a respiratory infection.  So, I don't know what to do.  I feel like running away.:(   She is coughing a lot and sounds real hoarse.   So, I am going to play it by ear and see how things are going.   I sure don't want to get worse and don't need to be coughing with these separated ribs.    I hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July!!:)

Star, I am praying for your mom! She is so precious... I'm sorry that she's still not over her illness. Take care of yourself. You can't get more ill and take care of all the problems that you do... Would something like a face mask help? Hope things go well...

Thanks Sunlight!! You are right!! We found out that it is the chronic bronchitis/COPD that she has which is on-going so she is not contagious.

Your Mom will be in my prayers. Why don't you use a mask when you visit her? Or just send your husband and son? I am sure she understands you aren't well either. You have to take care of yourself or she won't have anyone to take care of her. Oh, to have a daughter like you!!! I have only sons and they don't think like daughters. But are pretty wonderful anyway!!! Nena

will pray for your mom. sorry she is back in the hospital jenn. we don't go to the fireworks as I have told you. but we see some from our yard. Well last night just as it got dark enough, a storm hit. A big one. So I don't think anyone had fireworks. so disappointing for all the people who drove so far to see them.

Awww thanks Red!! I do appreciate it. She is just not over this and the double whammy is having to be on the steroids for the breathing actually lessens the effect of the antibiotics but what are you gonna do you know??
