I have more pictures than this but, here's a start. Mom's party went off without a hitch!!! It was a beautiful day and about ten of her friends were there. Also the three of us and my brother and sister-in-law from New Mexico were there (Tim) and (Laquita). It was a lot of fun and couldn't have imagined it without Tim and Laquita!!! We are very, very blessed!! Mom had a good time. Tim and Laquita went back home yesterday afternoon. We went back up to see Mom yesterday morning and had breakfast with her. It was a busy weekend and so much fun!! :) I am still tired and trying to play catch up on the rest. I am feeling better but still have that nagging cough. Grrrr!! My hubby left early this morning for another week of school back in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area. He has called me a couple of times and he is there safe and sound. It is chilly and rainy there though just like it was three weeks ago when we were there. He will be back home Friday night. :) I will miss him and hope that this week goes by fast. Ok, now for the pictures....
Here is Mom holding up her birthday cake. I am behind her and you can see my arm and one of my eyes. Lol! I was helping her hold the cake but didn't want to be in the picture. I wanted it to be focused on her. She is shaky and it was hard for her to hold that on her own.

Here is a picture of Laquita and one of Mom's friend's her name is Mary.
Mom opening her birthday gifts!!:)

Mom was really tickled about something.:)
Here's Mom with a tiger lily plant given to her by one of her friend's there.
Some roses from Tim and Laquita.

Here is Scott after the party. He was so tired just like the rest of us.
Here are some carnations that we gave to Mom.

More pictures to come later in another post.
Mom got several gifts from her friends, Tim and Laquita, and us. We had subway sandwiches, a veggie tray with ranch dressing, a fruit tray with a lemony sweet dip, chips, guacomole, cake and homemade ice cream. Laquita brought their ice cream freezer and made homemade vanilla ice cream.
Mom wanted the pastel colors so, that is what we went with for the table cloths, plates, knives, forks, and spoons. Her napkins had a 75 on them. We all had a good time and it was a big success!!
