Pumpkin Carving Time ~ Almost ~

My avatar is a picture of a pumpkin that my son carved a couple of years ago. It is a pirate ship from The Pirates of the Carribean.

He also carved Captain Jack Sparrow

And This One!!

And This One Too!!

I did this Cinderella One

And Ariel From The Little Mermaid

And The Haunted House

We had a LOT of fun carving real pumpkins and the ones that are fake that you can buy at Michael's and use year after year. You can carve them and put a light not a candle in those. Really fun!! It is time to get the stuff out again.

My son may host another Halloween party like he did last year. Lots of fun!!

I'm enjoying the autumn season, but just haven't gotten into the Halloween spirit. I will write you a private message. Annie

Those are terrific Jenn. We got 4 large pumpkins over the weekend and our cornstalks that flank the posts of our porch. I love this time of year.
How's your Mom??

Yep, we need to get some too. I am about to get the Halloween stuff down to decorate. Just finished two Halloween yard signs. Thanks!! We had fun carving these.

Holy mackerel! These are INCREDIBLE! What a talented fellow!!!!
comment by hayduke on Oct 8, 2008 9:46 AM ()
Thank you Jim!! He carved the first 4 and I carved the bottom 3. Like I said below we did have patterns but, it can be tedious work all the while being fun too.
reply by texastar on Oct 8, 2008 12:29 PM ()
These are all wonderful. Did you guys do these freehand?
comment by redimpala on Oct 8, 2008 8:56 AM ()
Thank you Red!! No, we did have patterns but, like I said to Angie it can still be tedious work but fun work at the same time. Although, my son is very artistic and could do well free-hand.

Wow! You two are very talented. I'm so ashamed that my craving is grotesque! I can't even do a simple face------------
comment by angiedw on Oct 8, 2008 2:56 AM ()
Thank you he is artistic. He carved the top 4 and I carved the bottom 3 here.
