Well I'm awake. I was so sleepy but maybe I am just over tired. Mom got out of the hospital and got to go home yesterday afternoon. We went up to see her after Scott and Nathan got home from work. We took her some supper and Scott and I went shopping for her and Nathan stayed with her at her apartment. After we got back to her place Scott divided up her meat into individual servings and we put them into plastic baggies in the freezer. I put a roast in the crock pot for her and peeled potatoes so they would be ready along with the carrots. We stayed and visited for awhile. She looks and is doing much better. We will go back up there this weekend to see her again. Just so thankful that she is home.

I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep and finally started playing solitare on my PDA. Finally I said this is crazy and got up and came downstairs to the computer. Don't know why I can't sleep. Like I said I may be over tired. I was also thinking about the featured bloggers. I think that is nice and an honor. I was featured twice on blogster. I guess it has me thinking. Holly blogged about it a few days or a week ago I'm not sure. What I think is neat about it is when folks are just *featured* without asking or whining to someone else wondering why they hadn't been featured yet. Whether it be on here or blogster or wherever. It is just my thoughts. I think if you're wondering, whining, and wanting to be featured it is kind of like the little kids in elementary school asking or saying to their friends that they don't know why they haven't been picked to be the leader, or the helper for the day or week whatever. Personally, like I said it is nice and all but, I don't even think about it. In the big realm of life there is LIFE!!:) Just my thoughts.

I think being featured should be a surprise, a nice one! Lots of good things in life should be a surprise, not a goal. Just do your best and let that be reward enough.
Love the sweet things you do for your Mom. So glad she is home....

so glad your mom is back home! and the dinner you made sounds soooo good, that is one of my favorites. a roast in the crock pot with potatoes. I hope you can get some sleep today sis.

Thanks Sis!! I was able to get some sleep finally. Still sleepy. I hate it when I can't sleep. Yes, I love that kind of meal too!! We are very glad that she is back home!!

It came as a total shock to me. I expected to see AJ still as featured and it was me. I thought it was very neat. And you're right, nobody whines are cries, it just happens. Hope you continue to get better.
