¶¶I am a woman, intelligent, disabled. I live with my yellow canary, about 33 miles North of Chicago, 13 miles West of Lake Michigan. [Somehow Greasy.com has decided that is La Grange, IL. It is not.] I like to read, think and sing.
¶¶ I like to watch silly movies. No grim ones. That's not entertainment. I play Autoharp. I collect Netsuke. I grew up on the North side of Chicago, was a full time Gay & Lesbian activist, a rabid Typographer back in the day, and I am a Cubs Fan.

¶¶My computer has bipolar disorder, and slowly I am learning enough about Linux that someday I will feel secure enough to get rid of Windoze completely.
¶¶I would love having someone help me wrest control of my music back from iTunes. Things are way out of hand with it.
¶¶I would also love to have my sleep schedule sorted out so it can be almost the same every day, with sleeping at night and waking in the daytime.
¶¶Heck, while I am wishing here, I would love NOT to wear knee-high leg braces, or be chronically in pain, or be post-polio, or have degenerative myelin around the nerves in my feet and ankles, or not have fibromyalgia. The leg braces are in pretty rainbow swirled hard plastic, with user-friendly velcro closures.
¶¶Since I DO have all that stuff going on, note that I have a peaceful life, filled with love and joy. I'd rather look for beauty in the world and be grateful for what I've got. I am She Who Has Great Attitude!
