I Saw My First Robin Today.

Can the crocus and dandelions be far behind? there begins to be hope for Spring. I moved my Canary's cage from the warm kitchen to the cooler dining room, so we have more time together without him freezing to death. There are birds coming to the feeders in droves, and families in both bird houses. A couple of years ago the big birdhouse was home to both at once, a family of chickadees and a family of sparrows. Never saw anything like it. The day lilies are about six inches tall, and the tulips and daffodils down under the tree have started to show themselves. The bare branches in the hedgerow ill soon sprout leaves and life will return to normal. The marten will be padding his way out in search of surplus squirrels soon. There is hope for the future, even in this partly sunny day. Blessings to all!

My garden is doing real good. In about 6 weeks I will
be able to pick some things and eat it. I depend on my garden
to help feed me, not only because of the price of veggies,
but to me it just taste better fresh out of the garden.

I can use all the signs of hope for the future I can get , Still trapped in mourning. I know it takes as long as it takes, but she was my sister, and I can mourn and celebrate her life at the same time.

Nice post. I saw my first two robins (a male/female) in our back yard yesterday. It was 70 degree's out and he was singing up a storm. My Dad can mimic their bird call exactly.

So nice to read this, I could see it all. Thanks for sharing. It is nice when the birds share.
It is fun here to see the quail, hares, chipmunks, sparrows all eating the bird seeds. Some days there is a grouch that gets bossy, if they just look around there's so much available, just like people. Fighting over a few scraps while abundance is right in front of them.

Sure, we have one cold morning here in Florida (54 degrees this morning) and the robins go flying up north!!!

I've been seeing them for awhile, and, until Cletus the landlord cut the grass yesterday, we had a coupla dandilions in the yard. Can road construction be far behind?
