Well, I confess, As a disabled human being, I get to sleep when the pain subsides, and sometime I don't for days on end. I have a TENS unit, and I have serious opiates for when I absolutely can't bear it, but they knock me right out. I've been looking for middle ground for years. My Doctor wants me to take more, I want better quality of life. It's a balancing act. When the pain is dreadful, the doctor gets it her way and I sleep my days away. That isn't all the time, I'm grateful to say. Pain can be befriended, there is middle ground. Like the Rainbow Connection and Kermit the Frog, someday I'll find it! Thanks for caring enough to ask. I don't generally make a practice of chatting about pain. It's A) Boring B) Depressing C) Useless D) Selfish E) Whiny
None of those things are particularly attractive. If asked, I will tell. It's just pain, not the end of the world. In between, I get to have a great life! Yay for counting blessing! Double Yay! Yay!! for having lived out my dreams when I was young and ambulatory. At thirty, I could remember better things than most people ever experience!

Okay, I have to ask--going to sleep at 1 PM??? That's about the time my mind is finally waking up--tried to take a nap an hour ago and couldn't--the mind just keeps buzzing the later it gets in the day--now I have NO problem sleeping during the morning hours and that is until 12 noon.

When it comes to computers and/or the Internet I need a 10 year old to show me the way!!
