  This and That.

It's 11.09am. I have just finished another coat of gloss paint on the kitchen doors and frames. I am now wondering if we will ever finish this project?! Brushes have been put away for an hour or two while the paint drys, and into the cluttered living room I come. Is there anything worse than a room full of mess and clutter to put you in a bad mood.I feel as if my living room space is closing in on me! Wondering where to start?

The school held it's sports day yesterday. It was great fun, hard work and very noisy. All went well and we only had one bad moment with Richard. Which I am a bit pissed off with, (not with Richard). His teacher came and had a word with me yesterday, Alexander was performing as usual so I was not really able to pay attention properly . I will speak to her on Monday. I don't need to be told how my son's mind works.

After school yesterday we went out for the evening. We collected father in law then collected Richard from school. We went to a near by holiday resort. It's our time out resort. The kids go out to play, whilst the adults chill out. We usually holiday there too as it is close enough to reach father in laws consultant at the hospital if we need to. We missed out on a summer holiday this year as we never got around to booking a reservation, and I am too tight to pay £6/700 pounds for a weeks holiday. We hope to have a week away in October. Whilst in Porthcawl last night I booked two holiday's for next year, so at least it's done now. We're booked and going.

Oh well been on here too long now, housework to be done.

So, now you know why my livingroom and the room I use as an office is so cluttered and messy! I'm into projects in other rooms! (Not really, not like your projects, anyway. Just that I'm trying to get certain things taken care of in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom...and some stuff gathered to put in the basement.) So, I know what it's like to have things pushed into a room..it gets cluttered and you can't clean around it, and you can't do anything with it fast enough to get it where it belongs.

It will feel sooooooo good when the painting is done and everything is put back in order.

Remodeling and painting do make a mess and clutter. I am always so glad to finish so that I can restore order once more.

I got so frustrated with it yesterday that I went to bed as soon as Paul came home for his mid day break. I am feeling so much better today, and have worked through a few chores already.

I understand perfectly the mess caused by remodeling or refurbishing since we have done plenty of that in the past--hang in there, when all is finished, you will be so very proud and happy.

Thanks for the encouragement. I should know better than try to clean on a Saturday. It just doesn't sit well with me.On Sunday's however I am ready and as happy as I can be to straighten and tidy
