I was in line at Chapters to pay for my books when I overheard a man returning a book he had purchased. When asked his reason for the return his answer was, "It wasn't what I expected." I asked the clerk if we can return books we don't like, and she replied that if we don't read the whole book but after reading a few pages we decide we don't like it we can return it. (14 day time limit). I wonder if this applies to other things in life. If I take a trip to Europe and I don't like Rome because of the pick pockets, will the travel agent provide me with a refund? It would be handy at the wine store. "I am returning the Barolo because 1990 just wasn't the year I expected it to be."
