This morning we discovered that the septic tank guy did come here yesterday and pump the vault, in time for the guests who showed up. Except we didn't know it (he should have come found us) so we could pay him cash. He stuck a bill in the door - $160. Very good price compared to Waste Management. When I mail his check I'll schedule him to come back at the end of the season.

Bless his heart. He used to come here back in 2002 and 2003 when the con artist people lived there until they got into a fight with him so then we had to switch vendors to Waste Management, which charged twice as much. I was paying for it at the time - paid all these people's utilities and rent in exchange for them looking out for the place - so they didn't care that it cost more.

They're long gone, so I'm glad to get back with this guy. We'll try to keep better track of things so we don't get into another tight spot.

In the meantime, the Texans went fishing today, but I don't know if the women have started having fun yet.

So I'm all happy again. That's me, happy, happy. Life is good.
