  A Small Stupid Victory

It's a fine overcast day, which is good for fly fishing.

The other day a fisherman explained to me how to choose the right bait for catching trout. He is a retired zoology professor, so did a very good job explaining how the trout hang out next to the fast currents with their nose sticking into the fast part waiting for food to come by. It didn't make me want to go fishing, but gave me some new insight to which would be the best fishing spots around here.

I have been struggling with a computer settings problem that I've solved before, but since forgot what I did to fix it. The last time I figured it out, I thought I wrote it down, but apparently not. So now I finally figured it out (again), and this time I really did write it down (in a couple of places).

So I feel victorious over the computer for the moment, which is probably as good a feeling as catching and releasing a fish.

This is a high school principal from Independence, MO who comes here every 4th of July to fish and the fish is a native brown trout.

Fishing is kind of boring but I love them fresh out of the stream. I still have your instructions but still am very busy and haven't had time to put my pictures on. I have big gobs.

Gosh, I'm glad other people write things down, put them in a very safe place, and then can't find them. I do this all the time!

I think I write everything down and file everything and then I can't find the thing and I hear eerie music. When you catch a fish and throw it back, I imagine it running back to it's mom in the school, sobbing, and crying "snuffle, sob, you'll never guess what happened to me ..." So I don't fish. Also I don't clean fish. Also, "Please fillet that for me" said to the fellow at the fish counter is my favorite style of fishing. xx, T.

I love the analogy b/t figuring out the computer & trout fishing.

Good post Laura and nice shoot there.
Lot of time I marked things down and then loose it and do it
over again.Well I try to be more organized on things.
But sometime you lose it and forget it.
