It smells like Calgon spray.

Her favorite spray.

Because she wore my newest sweatshirt to go outside to
smoke, to call home.

Black Bandana.

Squared purple sun glasses.

Newest faded blue sweatshirt.

Comfy flower pants.

Gray, white, and black ankle socks with a star on them,

And skull-covered slip-ons.

 

Such a beautiful sight.

 

And you know

Far from feeling a sorrow that doesn’t float,

I feel our love in this,

My newest faded sweatshirt,

That envelopes me

In her smell

 

It calms me.

Soothes me.

I breathe deeply,

I breathe serenely.
